Nutrition & Dementia Care

Good Food, Good Mood. Dementia can cause an appetite for food and liquids to disappear. Our loved ones with dementia may lack the cognitive ability to express their taste preferences or lose their appetite completely, making mealtimes a daily challenge. Caregivers may feel frustrated and in despair as loved ones refuse to eat.

Allium Healthcare presents a 2-hour interactive Nutrition workshop to share:

  • Techniques to help with meals preparation
  • How to fortify food
  • How to make mealtimes more pleasant
  • How to experiment with other food flavours and textures
  • How to prevent muscle wasting

Venue: Allium Care Studio at Seletar Hills, 32 Jln Kelulut, Singapore 809049
Date: 24 Aug
Time: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Workshop Fee: $20. Lunch will be provided.
