Dysphagia Care Training

Care Concierges are the hospitality of Allium Care Suites. To deliver safe, quality and reliable care, our Care Team receives layers of training and competency assessment. Led by our Senior Principal Dietitian and Senior Nurse Manager, our staff were introduced to the IDDSI (International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative) Framework for management of diet and fluid consistencies in the care of individuals with swallowing difficulties.

Training commenced with the globally standardised terminology when conveying updates of dietary and texture modification needs for older adults with dysphagia.
