Parkinson’s Disease: Improving Life Through Movement

Parkinson’s disease is a progressive neurological disorder affecting motor and cognitive functions. Many people with Parkinson’s can now live as long, or almost as long, as those without the condition. Effective management through medical and nonpharmacological interventions, like movement therapy, supports a good quality of life.

Join us for our 38th Wellness series with Principal Physiotherapist Marcus Tow as he explores living well with Parkinson’s through supportive management and movement therapy.

Marcus Tow is a registered physiotherapist with a BSc (Physiotherapy) with Honours from the Singapore Institute of Technology and Trinity College Dublin. He has extensive experience across hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and rehabilitation centers, specialising in neurorehabilitation, geriatrics, orthopaedics, palliative care, and dementia care.

An LSVT BIG certified physiotherapist, Marcus manages client rehabilitation at Allium Healthcare, serves as a clinical educator, and chairs the falls prevention committee.
